Justin Timberlake's New Joint Venture With Interscope: Tennman Records, Announces First Signing To His New Label
Multi-platinum four time Grammy Award-winning recording artist Justin Timberlake has launched Tennman Records, a joint venture with Interscope Records, it was announced by Jimmy Iovine, Chairman, Interscope Geffen A&M. Mr. Timberlake will serve as Chairman and CEO of the new joint venture, which will be based in Los Angeles and will be distributed worldwide by Interscope Geffen A&M.
The first signing to Tennman Records is the Internet phenomenon and singer/songwriter Esmee Denters. She was discovered via YouTube when she began posting cover performances of Beyonce, Alanis Morrisette and Alicia Keys. 18 year-old Esmee Denters hails from Oosterbeek, Holland, where she has had 21 million views on her YouTube site since she posted her first performance less than 9 months ago. In addition, to being on tour this summer with Justin, she is currently writing/recording on her debut album which is slated for release later this year.
