DJ Jazzy Jeff is finally back with The Return Of The Magnificent, the eagerly anticipated follow up to his well received solo debut, 2001's The Magnificent.

Awarded the first rap Grammy in 1989 as one half of Dj Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince (Will Smith), founder of the A Touch Of Jazz studios for everyone from Eminem to Michael Jackson, in 2007 the iconic Philadelphian is known for being one of the few DJ's who can please both mainstream and underground audiences alike.

DJ Jazzy Jeff has made a Hip Hop album for today. It's not a look back to some glory day of Hip Hop but a solid concerted effort to make a record that is truly great and of it's time. This album promises to be one of 2007's highlights for anyone interested in urban music and for Jeff himself who simply states: "This is the best record I have ever done."

Canadian pop-rocker Avril Lavigne music tops the US album chart with her new set, "The Best Damn Thing," which sold 286,000 copies during its first week in stores.




Nine Inch Nails music' "Year Zero" enters The Billboard 200 chart at No. 2 on sales of 187,000 copies, pushing last week's No. 1 album, the "NOW 23" hits compilation, to No. 3. Billboard bases its album chart on Nielsen SoundScan retail-sales data.

Country singer Bucky Covington music sold 61,000 copies of his self-titled debut album, enough to chart at No. 4. Martina McBride music 's "Waking Up Laughing" jumps from No. 8 to No. 5 with sales of 55,000.

Rounding out the Top 10 are Akon music's "Konvicted," Daughtry's self-titled debut, Tim McGraw's "Let it Go," Carrie Underwood's "Some Hearts" and Timbaland's "Timbaland Presents Shock Value."
